At Nord Ro, our name reflects the heart of our practice—a space where movement meets stillness, strength meets healing, and every body is welcomed with care and respect.

• Nord means “north” in both French and Norwegian. It symbolizes direction, resilience, and grounding—just as chiropractic care offers a foundation for movement, alignment, and lasting well-being.

• Ro is the Norwegian word for calm, peace, and serenity—a fitting reflection of acupuncture’s power to restore balance, release tension, and bring harmony to the body.

Together, Nord Ro represents the synergy of chiropractic and acupuncture, the balance of strength and serenity, and the journey toward wholeness and well-being.

But Nord Ro is more than a treatment philosophy—it’s a celebration of pride, identity and inclusion. As an LGBTQ+ affirming practice, we are deeply committed to serving every body, every identity, at every stage, on every journey. Nord Ro Clinic exists at the intersection of clinical excellence and queer liberation. We offer affirming chiropractic, acupuncture, physical, and lifestyle medicine as acts of healing and resistance. Our care is rooted in evidence-based practice, cultural humility, and a deep reverence for the whole person—sex & kink-positive, neurodiverse-affirming, and trauma-informed. In every treatment, we strive to honor the strength and serenity within our community.
